Soon after setting up ABInBev's in-house agency Covid struck. Pubs were shut. I was tasked with working out how to help our suffering landlords and ladies. I am incredibly proud with the activation we invented: 'Save Pub Life'. An eGiftcard scheme that meant people could support their local in lockdown. We activated the campaign in social, creating posts that individual pubs could tailor for themselves. We made reactive content featuring landlords that were benefiting from the scheme to encourage further participation.
 
20000 eGiftcards were sold. In the UK 1500 pubs received £1.2m in donations. The scheme then got picked by 21 different markets, bringing in $11.56m of funds for local venues. Save Pub Life won at awards shows too: PR Week Awards - Best Use of Media Relations, One Show - Merit for Social Impact.
